Muay Thai Stadiums
No visit to Thailand is complete without going to watch the Muay Thai fights at one of the major stadiums around Bangkok. Seeing the Thai (and non-Thai) warriors battle it out in full contact matches, hearing the live music and the excitement in the crowd is something everyone should experience at least once! There are two main stadiums and several smaller venues to check out in the Bangkok area.
Lumpini Boxing Stadium
Lumpini Stadium is probably the best and most famous place in Bangkok to see a Muay Thai show. Events at Lumpini are held on Saturdays at 5:00 and 8:30 and Tuesdays and Fridays at 6:00. Lumpini Stadium is located on Rama IV Road just east of Lumpini park. While there, be sure to check out the Suan Lum Night Bazaar for shopping with thousands of street vendors offering some very cool stuff!

Rajadamnern Stadium
Rajadamnern Stadium is the other major Muay Thai stadium in Bangkok. Events at Rajadamnern are held on Mondays at 5:00 and 9:00, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 PM and Sundays at 5:00. Rajadamnern Boxing Stadium is on Ratchadamnoen Nok Avenue close to the TAT office.
