It is with great sorrow we report that Ajarn Chai Sirisute’s mother, Tawin Sirisute passed away on Wednesday, November 19th, 2008. We want to express our heartfelt sympathy to the Sirisute family. Having met her personally for the first time less than a month ago at her home in Thailand we must say that she was the sweetest, kindest and most generous lady you could ever meet. Like us, she welcomed all of Ajarn Chai’s Muay Thai students into her home when they made their sojourn to Thailand to train in Muay Thai. Even in the short time we spent with her, we could tell that she had a wonderful heart. May she rest in peace.
Ajarn Chai has requested that all Thai Boxing Association (TBA) schools send a wreath of artificial flowers to the temple where his Mother rests with a ribbon including the School name and state represented included on the wreath. Ajarn would also like for a donation to be given to the monks at the temple where Tawin Sirisute’s body will rest for 50 days before cremation.
